All the best Gill, we are not far behind you. I am sat in my empty house on a plastic box. We leave the house this Friday and then head to my sisters on saturday night for a week. I am off to share an air bed with my 2 kids, how cosy!

Thanks for all the good wishes again guys.

Yesterday my folks kept the kids while we went back to our rental and threw everything to be packed still into the car and then cleaned up. Boy am I glad to be out of that place!!!!! We went bowling in the afternoon with my folks and sil and niece for some light relief then got stuck into the packing again last night when the kids were down. We thought we were doing well getting everything into 7 cases and 1 bag but when we weighed the mwe were 12 kilos over so we had to do some rejigging and took out a few bits and pieces. I "think" we're OK now.

Today I'm off shopping with my Mum to get her a birthday present and tonight my brother and his family are having dinner with us to say goodbye. Tomorrow we're heading off to Mike's parents for a night and then back here on Friday to see my sister then off to the airport for a night before flying on Saturday.

How am I feeling right now? I'm bricking it I feel sick at having to say goodbye to my family. Australia - you had better be worth it.

I'll try and pop back in again later if I get a minute.

Thanks for all the great pms and posts - you're really making a difference to what is now officially the most sh***y, scary, sad, happy, exciting, expensive, and exhausting time of my life.

I knew this bit would be hard but OMG, nothing prepared me for how bad it would really be. Should be done by 4pm tomorrow when we leave for the airport.
