With some of the recipes you'd have to make more than one thing anyway to get a meal. I do like the idea though. Not so keen that some of the ingredients are packets of mix.

i know i noticed a lot of masterfoods packets being used watching it the other day mind you when im in the queue at checkout my trolley is full of frozen and packet stuff bet they know im form the uk just by looking at my trolley !

They've clearly got some sort of sponsorship going with Masterfoods in the series currently being shown. There's some very unsubtle product placement in almost every shot and they were basically just cooking from the instructions on the back of the Masterfoods packet.

The recipes might look quick and easy but I bet they taste pretty bland and unexciting.

I watched the first 10 mins of it last night, 3 ways to make burger paddies as they call it:lol: then you needs another 4 ingredients to serve it;) , then a side dish?? which was spuds covered in a packet of masterfoods sauce.

Its hardly recipies:confused: more how to add a packet mix to food.

However the the tinned fish burger served with beetroot made me chuckle or was that chuck up:rofl:

The good old canal estates  admit not my taste, jammed 50 cm from you neighbors house with a view over a man made canal:confused:, with the doors and windows open you hear the neighbours every fart and sneeze:eek: I think the ocean view apartment is rented out for the show.

However I know at one stage some local rag claimed the book sales overtook harry potter books

I'm a big fan of one ingredient recipes:

1. Take a chocolate HobNob
2. Eat it.

or

1. Take a packet of Aldi Roquefort Cheese crisps.
2. Eat them.

Huey's Cooking Adventures has to win hands down on 'subtle' product placement!

Hutch, when is the show on TV? And surely that should be take a PACKET of chocolate HobNob's

As for 4 ingredients, I watched 1 show and gave up. What a pile of sh*te. Talk about dumbing cooking down, it is awful when compared to all the decent cooking programmes there are on TV. It is possible to cook great food here with fantastic local ingredients, so why on earth would you serve up the uninspiring cr*p they produce ? When they started adding packet mixes and pre-made sauces as an ingredient, it hit rock bottom. Those poor families must be pissed off with those 2 silly tarts forcing them to eat that garbage.

Save some for me

I don't think I've used a packet mix since I got here
