It could happen anywhere including Australia. (Someone post a link - cheers)
He looks 8 years old!!
His Dad probably told him to get off his playstation and ride his bike.
Or, the 15 year old mother actually was going to blame her 10 year old lover but decided the 13 year old got more pocket money!

Just read in the paper today, and that if she, the mother of Maise, decided to live with the little father, she could claim Child Benefit for the baby AND for him too, since she would be the primary carer of both!!!!

I think it is very sad and calling a 15 year old girl a bike is uncalled for. These kids might just have been messing about and nature took it's course. It's totally natural. I am surprised it happened as the boy is so young but please don't stigmatise a child.

I had my first son at 15, does that make me a 'bike' too?
And yes, mine was a planned pregnancy

He does look awfully young though
at least my fella was older than 8
Oh, and I have never been on benefits either - not everyone who chooses to have kids before they are an 'acceptable' age claim them.

There are schools where you can take your baby with you. They offer parenting classes as well as the normal curriculum and have a creche facility attached. They are pretty good schools actually and only have maybe 5 or 6 other pupils so you get a lot more teacher - student time. I went to one, it was invaluable for me as I got to speak to others in the same situation as me too, it was good to have the support.

And the schools that you mention i am fully aware of them but again that reduced class numbers and increased teacher >> student time is not privatly funded is it?
My only gripe is what about 'johnny briggs' down my road who is a little slower than others at picking stuff up in school?
He is not elegiable for any of the increased teacher > student time that the education department finds for young mums and so has to struggle on.

I know, that was before someone said it
Not always there isn't no and I think it's pretty sad. Although in most schools there are some dedicated special needs teachers for that purpose. Of course they rely on 'tests' to get the help - being pregnant or having a baby doesn't really need tests does it
Although I did have to go through some very strict counselling sessions and assessments to get a place in my 'special school'
Careful you don't fall
