1. It is a glorious winter's day in Sydney - 11 degrees at 9am when I was doing my leaflet round. Blue sky, sunshine and a slight nip in the air. The colours were bright on the flowers and the birds were (almost) singing. Made me feel good to be out and about.

2. Finished another uni assignment last night


Onwards and upwards

My daughters are awesome

With you on that. The first of this semester's exams starts in 90 minutes - just about to head off to uni now. Two more exams and one final assignment then I get 6 weeks off.

4. The fridge is stocked with wine, chocolate and cheese. I'm looking forwards to this evening.

5. Himself is away for a few days so I get the whole flipping bed to myself.

The weather is beautiful so off to the pub a little later for lunch.

6. I still have beer in the fridge. I live on my own and have the whole place to myself.

I am healthy.

In 5 1/2 days I will be jetting off on a four week holiday.

Standing in the garden this morning watching honey-eaters, in bright sunshine (22 deg) and it's almost the middle of winter. We are so lucky.

Got my OH home after his 2 week round the world working trip. (At 6.15am) He's having a lie-down before going into work at lunchtime.

It's the weekend.

Building work and decorating finished, I can finally sleep in my own bed after 3 weeks of sleeping on a sofa bed. I love my bed and how I have missed it.
