Wonder what they are made of too.

If I've got this the right way round most European tyres are based on silica / carbon black blends nowadays as they grip in the wet better.

Aus tyres are still mainly carbon black.

Don't know about the US.

Was only looking at this thread yesterday. Was going to use them but then got a good deal from KMart Tyres which worked out about $60 over what I'd have paid from them including the shipping but obviously didn't have to wait.. Got them done yesterday as I was driving on what looked like F1 tyres Looked at the when the thread started and there was a much bigger price difference.
