same-day british newspapers :)
Hi,
oops ... posted this in the caribbean section ... rather than the barbados section ... too much rum , me thinks
There is a company , called NEWSPAPER DIRECT, based at the Old Ackee Tree on Dayrells Road, Christ Church .
They download the newspapers and deliver, island-wide, same-day international newspapers. They deliver, generally, before breakfast
The manager, Francie , I`ve found is VERY efficient
Tel number is 246 436 1314
Enjoy

Just saw this post. This sounds like something I’d definitely be interested in. Since you seem to be the owner of Newspaper Direct, could you tell me something? In what format is the paper delivered? I find it a bit of a pain to read the press online, but if Newspaper Direct is delivering in A4/Letter size format, won’t (for example) the Sunday Times be like a brick?
These are serious questions. I’d definitely consider subscribing to something like this if carrying the newspaper from my yard to my living room didn’t put my back out.
All best.

I have seen it when waiting in various offices on the West coast, it comes tabloid format, portrait orientation and everything is a bit smaller. I guess it is scanned to .pdf and then printed out. At the back there are local ads. I had checked on getting NY Times it was $$$, besides now you can get most everything on line and print as needed (and avoid wasting paper!)

I`m actually an embryologist ... test tube babies kinda thing
I got interesting in newspaper direct through a fellow HASHER ( barbados hash house harriers ... not the herb) .
The majority owner , and manager is Francie, -with my work ( and hobbies : hash, scuba instructor) that`s my life -and happy with it, i am
I`m also a customer of theirs , but Francie is the lady to speak to 436 1314.
