Places to live and preschools for Kiwi Kids
Hi. We are new to this forum and not really British...well have British passports but still think we are Kiwis at heart.
We are currently living in Mustique and might look at moving over to Barbados for schooling and friends for our children as things are limited here for a 4 year old and 1 year old.
We are a professional couple in our 30's and want to know if there is a similar demographic living and having fun in barbados.
Any advice on where to live and schooling appreciated

Be great to meet a couple of kiwis. I am a Brit with an aussie passport and who thinks she's an aussie.
I have found people very friendly here; easy to make friends, especially with kids. I guess finding work/setting up business may be the deciding factor. I can certainly recommend life here - my kids are 3 & 6.
We live in Christ Church and kids go to school/pre-school in St Johns, still only a 15 minute drive. We are less than 10 mins from great beaches, 5 minutes from the shopping mall and supermarket, half hour from Bridgetown and the west coast.
Like every other place in the world, its not perfect. But I imagine you are experienced in island life and I think Barbados is probably the best place to live in the caribbean.
Would be happy to get together if you come over. Let me know if I can answer any more specific questions or pm me.

Brionyj-- we are also 5mins from the mall, I have a soon to be 3yo boy. I didn't realize you lived so close to us... we should get together.

That would be great.
Will have to be a little down the track as I have a house full of rellies at the moment..well, two actually,but it feels full!
Maybe we can arrange something when things have calmed down my end?
