Photography Tuition
Hi there
Does anyone know of any courses I could attend to learn about using my DSLR?
I've been looking at 1 week residential courses but they are in France. (I was trying to tie it in with a business trip I have to do)
It might make more sense to travel to a local island if there aren't any in Barbados.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

I'm not aware of any 1 week courses, but there are several professional photographers that do courses that are maybe 6 weeks in length.. beginners, intermediate and advanced classes. Joel Brooks does something called Light Lab. http://joelbrooksltd.com/#/page/contact/ Ronnie Carrington, with whom I took a beginning photography class last summer, offers photo safari's around the island as well as classes, but they are usually 2 days a week for 6 weeks. he has recently held a saturday workshop on getting to know your dslr.. so you may want to try to contact him to see when/if he is doing another. http://www.facebook.com/ronniebarbados [email protected] try this e-mail to get in touch with him about the next class.. or for info on the time you will be in Barbados.

Thanks for that, I've dropped them both a line.
I am in Barbados most of the year but do have to do a lot of travelling this year.
