I am going home to Barbados for 4 weeks and taking my laptop
what are the options i have for internet for those weeks
does anyone offer internet service for such a short period,
and how does the prepaid card work,am not intrested in going to wifi
centers.Just want to stay at home and use internet.I must mention i have
my house in Barbados but has disconected my internet service since i started
working overseas and can only come home once a year.

Hi,
You can try Sunbeach. They do dial up. You can pay per month. It is not a fast connection, but I think it is probably the best option if no wi-fi or other connection in your house

Thanks Stlucy but that is something ive done 10 years ago.Am looking for that USB stuff that i usually buy in Europe and plug Ãt in the side of my computer so i can have a wireless internet connection for a certain period.

Depending on what phone you use, the phone companies are also offering wi-fi connections. So you can try that maybe. Or simply, look for someones open network close to where you live and log on.

Also try to talk to Digicel in Warrens, they once told me they could supply me with one like a dongle, but I did not go along with it as I ended up having an internet service, and I am not sure if they still have them. They said it would cost me something like BBD357+-,cant remember the exact cost now. Also try their website, it should be there.
