Hi
I have just moved to Barbados and am looking for a garage sale or if anyone is moving back and selling household stuff? I have a two bed place to furnish and am looking for the usual house stuff... Thinking I may ship my stuff over from UK but want to be sure I'm staying first... Thanks in advance, Lisa

Re: Hi
Hi Lisalou..it worked out for as long as it needed to...In hindsight I came to Bim for healing and recovery and to escape the ratrace expand my horizons and get back in touch with who I was (I actually thought I came to set up a business and have a lifestyle change)..so I didint get what I thought I wanted... I got what I needed....I come and go now depending on my need for peace or growth...Barbados is a spiritual home for me ..a place to be a human being and not just a human doing...

Hi Lisa,
Welcome to barbados. I am also new to the island. We are waiting on our uk shipment but once it arrives we will be selling most the kitchen appliances, some furniture, clothes etc. I will make a post once we are ready and give you a message. 😊

Re: Hi
jeanna.. are you selling the kitchen appliances you are shipping over?? is so, just remember, and as you would know living her, the voltage is different and unless it comes with a converter or whatever, it's not going to be easily sold.. just advising. I"ve seen it happen.. people trying to sell items from the UK and sometimes it doesn't happen...

Re: Hi
Hi sunni
Yes I have a few kitchen appliances, but mainly loads of plates, glasses, cutlery etc. Thanks for pointing out the voltage issue. We are living in a place with voltage transformers so we wont have that problem. But I will make sure to inform anyone at the garage sale of the voltage issue if they do decide to purchase an electrical appliance. We will give it a go and see how it goes.
Thanks
