Default Barbados - here we come!

Will arrive for a weeks stay on Sunday! looking forward to it and checking out the place with the kids in tow.

After this trip should have a better idea when we make the move...dates etc. Right now it's looking like late Aug/beg Sept.

Any suggestions of what to do with 2 young kids whilst o/h will be working? I'm hoping to rent a car so I can get out and about.

Cheers

RS

Depends on what you're looking for. I have never really done the tourist things, but if you want to you can go on a catamaran trip, there's the zoo, not much but nice enough for the kids. My kids were very impressed with the caves. And to be honest I used to go to Almond beach resort(St.Peter, Speightstown) with the pools and little play area a paradise for kids. No one never ever asked me if I was a geust, altough I came there at least once every forthnight for 3 years
Have fun

Hiya,

You can go to the Wildlife Reserve, the Aquarium (has a really nice playground), all the chefettes have playgrounds too - not sure how old your children are...

Graham Hall Sanctuary is nice for a trip to, you can get food and feed the enormous fish in the lake.

The beach obviously

Thanks for tip on ALmond Beach Resort, will go there definitley when I return!

Thanks Trutje and Shines for those tips/suggestions.....will definitely check them out and the kiddo's are both under 5...so most things will keep them busy.

Cheers
