Barbados Customs
I will be moving to Barbados in May of this year.
I have about 100 books that I what to ship down. My question is;
How do I list them on the customs manifest?
By titles or just how many there are in each box?
Thanks , in advance, for your help .

Re: Barbados Customs
We only listed the items as "Personal Effects" once we got the Bill of Lading as the ship arrived and the Customs forms were provided to us. I had a very involved numbering and packing system in spreadsheet form which was very handy for me to make certain that everything was there but Customs wan't interested in it. I would also say that if you have any valuable books don't bring them-- the moisture will tun them brown in no time.

Re: Barbados Customs
Thanks for the reply. I still would want to ship my books to Barbados.
Can any one tell me, do I list all the titles or just how many books are in each books?

Re: Barbados Customs
You just say personal effects for the entire shipment there is no itemization of the items-- that covers all items that you have owned and personally used for more than 2 years.
