Autistic school
Hi my son is 4 yrs old and he is autistic and I would like to locate a school that is fully equip to take care of him. Please list any school if you know, thanks

My wife is a autism specialist and is look for places too there a respite centre there not sure about a school you should get in touch with the council for the disabled they have some catching up to do with autism spectrum but there getting there

I don't believe there is any one school specific to children with Autism, however, you may want to contact The SchoolHouse for Children with special needs. There should be a number in the phone book.

Thanks guys. Its so hard to find someplace or professionals in Barbados that are equipped to help. I was thinking to home school my son but I would like him to get exposure

depending on his level of Autism, you may also check with some private school to see if he can be integrated into the infant years classes.. you may need a "teaching assistant" specifically there for your child, which you would have to pay for, not the school. but I know it's been done before.
