Finally after some pretty serious storms - its blue sky here. My wife is sunbathing on the terrace right now!!
Last night we had a drink on our terrace at about 1:30am and slept with the door open all night!! Im going to dig out the shorts today!
Friends come from the UK tonight - they are going to love it!

Just got back from El Gouna on the Red Sea - the temperature was peaking at around 37C at midday and the sea temp was around 27C - it got a bit chilly at night, down to 17C

It's been b----y awful!
I've many times seen it rain heavily in Spain, but today in a ten minute period it came down harder than I've ever known it!
We have had thunder and lightening and the hills and mountains around us completely disappeared....we are going to give the Easter processions a miss this time.
Just looked out of the window and the sun is shinning.

This is the second time we have visited during April and last time the weather was worse than this week - continual rain. At least this week the sun has appeared from time to time. Must make a note to avoid the "April showers".

Last year´s winter was extreme, with a tornado in Cartaya (April 17th) and snow in Seville. We´ve had some glorious weeks before with temperatures up to 26/27 Celsius.
