yyyyyyeeeeeeeeeesssssssssssss!!!
Opened post this morning to the news we had been
waiting for "we are pleased to inform you that your visa has been granted"
Lots of shouting and screaming took place....who knows what the neighbours were probably thinking!!lol
We are heading for Brissy in Sept.....we can now finally tell everyone "yes we are going for definite now"
Hope to meet up with all of you who are heading to Brissy...
Good luck to all of you waiting in limbo! it will workout in the end

looking forward to meeting up with all the future Brisbanites.
We applied May99! Received Trade Recognition Jan 2000 applied for visa May 2000 the slight delay in putting the application in was due to personal circumstances.
Requested police and medicals 1st May 2002
Received letter 6th july 2002!!
It was a long ordeal with so many people doubting we were actually going.. and many questions such as "heard any news yet?" as if we would keep it a bloody secret!
Thanks for the well wishes hope to see more celebrations on here soon!!

Congratulations mate... I know what you mean, We are only 2 months down the line and already people are asking us when are you going, have you got it yet. I am sure most people will not believe we are acually going untill we are on the plane.
Anyway, Well done and enjoy your new life. Hopefully we should see you in Brissy in maybe 18 months??????
