Been in Oz a while. Our Oz house cost us approx twice as much as the UK house. There's always one ...

I'm a bit of a tight a*** I think. We are selling for £135k, after mortgage, student loan etc paid we should have around £65k. I don't want to spend anymore than $200k on house but if Andrew has his way we will look at buying one that is around $300k. I want a better life not a bigger mortgage, lol.

Have house on for £299,995.
Had an offer at £290,000 but they haven't sold yet.
Will be reasonably happy at anything above £285,000.
The way the market is here will just be happy to sell.

Were looking up to $350,000 but with the housing market and the exchange rate have given up speculating and will just have to see how it goes.
Have given the agent 2 more weeks and then we put it up multi-agency and see if that gets them moving.

Has anyone else noticed how Bunbury is a lot more expensive them Mandurah ? Why is this ?

Are the prices still climbing in WA ?

Blimey, theres a lot of people on this forum with expensive big houses!!!

We sold in Dec 2002 (UK) for 70,000 and bought in Perth July 2003 for $181,000

Mind you, house prices have gone up a lot since then, Perth and here.

Do you mean house size? 3 bedroom semi in a very expensive part of the country. Got a reasonable amount of equity but also got a reasonable amount of debts to pay off once the house is sold. Downside to running your own business

House on the market for £250k but no idea what it will actually sell for, don't want a mortgage so $300k - $350k max.
