does anyone know if you can get weight watchers yoghurt as i really like toffee and vanila flavour only 1/2 point! yummy. hopefully you can.

Not sure about Yogurt, but as an example the Coles supernarket sell:
WEIGHT WATCHERS* Peach Slices in Tropical Mango,
WEIGHT WATCHERS* Cottage Cheese
WEIGHT WATCHERS* Skim Milk, Long Life

Dont bother with the weight watchers get the full fat variety.

I'm on 2 diets at the moment, I wasn't getting enough food on just one.

That made me chuckle.

On my 1000th 1st day of diet.

I spoke to my friend the other day, told her that I was rejoinging slimming world (tonight). Said this time I might take up the sponsored weight loss challenge in aid of the NSPCC.

Her reply

'Don't do it - Children could die waiting for you to lose weight!!

Aussie girlfriend has finally started pronouncing yoghurt the correct (i.e English) way instead of the Aussie/American way. Finally feel that I'm making progress on her cultural development. Within the next few months I'm aiming to get her to say aubergine not egg plant, courgette not zuchinni and eating marmite not vegemite.

Mind you, on the flip side of the coin I have to stop saying 'no worries' and 'ute'.

Interesting, when we were in Oz, I pronounced yoghurt the english way...
But also eggplant, zucchini! And don't like marmite or vegemite, so...

Funny thing: Some people in Oz pronounced my mums name as Yoghurt.
Her name is Joke. Which is Dutch. And it's short for Johanna.
Of course lots of people also pronounced it as joke(as in ha ha, lol) And then everything inbetween!
And my dad's called Ton, so everybody always called him Tom!
And my brothers name, Maarten, turned into Martin.
So I'm the only one who's lucky!
Well, except for our last name which has 'van' in front of it. So I was always at the end of class lists, at the 'v', where as here it would've been the letter of the actual name. and sometimes the made it 'Fan....'

a continent as big as australia and no-one knows if they seel weight watchers yoghurt there.

I'm sure I've seen WeightWatchers yoghurts, will look in the chiller next time I go. The variety of yoghurts here on the whole are pretty dismal compared to what we could choose from at Tesco. If you like strawberry and mango you're ok! I've found that my local Woolies only stocks certain flavours and Action stocks others, no doubt Coles would offer something different. Can't get a nice pineapple or rhubarb yoghurt anywhere! If you can't find WeightWatchers when you get here, there are others made by Ski or Yoplait that have "no fat" or are "lite" (1% fat).

We must be realistic

The grocers down at Bondi does real fruit yoghurts which are far better for you and much tastier.

What I like about Bondi is you do not have to shop at the supermarkets as there is plenty of quality produce in the smaller local shops.

But true, now why do I think someone will now type a list of yoghurt you can get in OZ, let me guess

Ok, lets do that with a proper attitude:

Help, mummy, mummy, me brains gone to mush, me arms are too tired to lift and me tummy growls. No don't want mango (spit). Hate strawberry. I want rhubarb! Please, please mummy, stew me some rhubarb. No I don't like that yoghurt, its too sour. No, that one's too fatty, I want boughten Weight Watchers! Wahhhh, Wahhh.

Well I'll start off with: Mango & Peach, Mango & Apricot, Mango & Lime, Mango & Passionfruit, oh and I nearly forgot, Mango.

Like strawberries? How about: Classic Strawberry, Field Strawberry, Vanilla Strawberry, Custard Strawberry........

Anyone notice how popular "vanilla" is here too? Not just yoghurts, but ready-made custard is always vanilla flavoured. And we just can't get ordinary Heinz Spaghetti, only Spaghetti with cheese, Spaghetti with extra cheese, you get the picture!

You people still in the UK, make the most of Tesco before you leave, it's one of the things all us expats seem to miss, sad or what? And I hate standing there like a spare part while the checkout girl packs the bags, just a few items in each bag, you end up with 100's of the things. I've started taking my own reusable calico bags, they're happy to let you pack your own then, it's a bit awkward with lack of space but environmentally-friendly at least.
