Would you Credit it!
In the UK we can calculate roughly how much a mortgage we can get get in relation to our salary, can the same thing be done in NZ, if so can someone tell me how it is done.
We had hoped to rent somewhere for 6months before buying thus allowing us to choose an area we want to live, how can we get a mortgage if we don't have a credit history?

Have a look at www.nationalbank.co.nz - they have a section for new residents, mortgage calcs & stuff..
