Get this.
We went out for Indian last night. One which has been mentioned on here before.
It's nice but nothing very special - just a bit like British Indian restaurants. Average looking place in a suburban shopping parade in the northern suburbs. We had two mains, one vegetable dish. two rice and one nan. The kids shared a main between them. No drinks, no starter.
$100.
$100!!
I was so cross, I couldn't sleep last night. 45 quid for a pretty average Indian meal.

As I wandered around Brisbane yesterday I noticed a lot of places offering "deals" like "lunch for just $44 per person"...I would never pay over £20 just for lunch!
