Default Worth keeping bank statements?

Hi
We are moving to Oz early next year and I was wondering if it is necessary to keep any bank statements for the purpose of getting anything like mortgage, house rental etc.? If not I will cancel my bank sending me statements but don't want to do this if they might be needed as they charge to re-print them!

Nope. Your credit history in the UK has no relevance to your credit worthiness here. You might want to keep a couple of years just in case you have tax issues but you certainly wont need them for any financial institution here.
