You've never seen me taking care of children have you? My sister is too scared to leave me in charge for long since I taught all her three to drink (responsibly
) and she hates it when I start telling stories of the things I got up to years ago. I think Im kind-of a bogeyman......."Do what I say or Aunty Polly will come and put a spell on you

It wouldn't be so bad if some of them explained why they are unhappy instead of posting shite, or waffling on about cash. I think some of them have adopted their own role as 'the fun police'.
And yes, Australia wins hands down, well worth it.

Thats a very good point and something I've also noticed as someone who is new to this forum.

However I'm an optimist (mostly!) and any day now I'm sure things will get better.

(Without a single whinge) I would say weighing all things up the friends, family and lifestyle I left behind were not worth giving up to come to Oz (direct answer to the question posted). As with all things there are a lot of other factors in the mix but I'm not posting my life story on here just to justify my answer!

Top of that list would be single white collar professionals that get a lot of international contracts.

Australia winning "hands down" depends on what you left behind compared to what you have now in Australia. Coming from Hulme then Adelaide would be great... coming from Alderley Edge perhaps less so.

"Posting shite" as you so eloquently put it is really posting their opinion... and that's every bit as valid as yours.

I even ventured into the MBTUK forum in order to get a more rounded perspective. Hence came with no rose tints & not dissapointed so far!

Didn't realise you knew me that well
