Default World cup down under

Can anyone tell me if the world cup will be on TV down under particularly England. We are moving out there in May 2006 and could not bare to not see England play even if it will be stupid 'o' clock.

Hubby is now breathing a huge sigh if relief that he can watch it, we are flying out on the 3rd of April and if we didnt have to fly out to validate the visa then we would have probably ended up staying here to watch before making the big move!!!

now we just have to find a nice landlord that doesnt mind us getting cable installed....

SBS is free to air so you don't need cable for the World Cup (you will for premier league).

The problem for us is that matches will start at 1am, 4am and 7am out west (2 hours earlier in the east). If it is a work day then I will have to watch highlights or record it.

Ah! I know what I did. I took the eastern times and added 2 hours rather than deducting 2 hours. So it is 9pm, midnight and 3 am here. Doh! At least that means the first 2 are doable.

The Group Game times are here;

So you dont need a cable to pick up free SBS? But you do for Premiership? Is this right? Does SBS have a subscription channel as well then?
