Default working out Aus House sizes

Just trying to work out Australian house sizes. Say for example a house is 33 squares, what exactly is that in sq feet? What formula is used? Tried using some online conversion tools but it does not appear to be of any help?

a square is 10ft x 10ft.

if a house is 33 squares, it is 10 x 10 x 33 = 3300 sq feet.

Do you mean 33 square metres? If so.............

1 square metre x 10.76 = 1 square foot

33 x 10.76 = 355 square feet

A Sq. Referred to as a Builders Square.

as said.. its 100 sq ft.

1 sq m = 10.76 sq ft

so 33 x 10.76 = 355.08 sqm

I think that depends on the realestate agent
Some seem way over extended, they must include the driveway as well

On new homes, they itemize it.

So grnd floor 17 sq
alfresco and porch 6 sq
Upper Living 14 sq
Garage 4 sq

Total 41 sq ( being squares not sqm. )

Squares are builders squares, which = 100 sq ft
