working in brisbane
hi im a spark in uk just got my skilled independent visa and got my vetassess due to move to Brisbane with my family in late November but getting no joy on the job front anyone out there got any sugestions as were starting to panic

Late November not the best time as summer holidays for most people run between December to February so think of similar to hunting a job in UK between June to mid August.

Got here in Dec 08 with similar skills. Took me 5 months to find a job. will take a while to get Oz electrical license. check threads on here. but it will be the 1st thing you will need. What sort of electrical experience have you. domestic/Industrial?
