Smile Wol's house build - update

At last things are happening - and quite rapidly!

After being mired in the mud a couple of weeks ago all is drizabone, piers were drilled earlier this week - dozens and dozens of them! - the bottoms filled with concrete and now the beam trenches are being excavated and rebar cages welded onsite.

Unlike Fraser, we are having nothing but good experiences: the builder is very hands-on, all his subs speak very highly of him and he is doing everything we ask of him.

Bricks are on order, framing also so hopefully will have some more architecture to show soon!

Looking good. It pays to choose carefully. We certainly didn't (although we thought we had).

Looks like your house will have a beautiful outlook.
