Was that just for ONE visit???? <shock> We have a window cleaner here in the UK for the outside. He charges £10 to do the whole house and comes once a month.

Ah, of course, flyscreens. I'd forgotten about them. They must be a total pain to clean.

Yea - one visit - and only the outside windows!
They don't clean the fly screens though - they just unclip them and clean the window behind. Made me laugh actually, because the window cleaner made this big thing out of the fact that they took the screens off - I said, "That must be tricky, four little plastic clips to undo, do you have a helper?" Conversation turned a bit sour after that - lol. poor soul you really spiked his guns there  |
Re: WINDOW CLEANING
Not much useful to add... but we pay £40 for cleaning of 5 windows inside and out in Edinburgh.
But the cleaners actually stand outside on the window ledge to do the outside! We only live on the first floor, but they say they would do the same on the 4th floor! Live in an old fashioned tenement, with big window ledges, but I just couldn't even watch. Mad people. |
