Unfortunately I did, (and surfed for bloody ages) but booked the flights about 2 months ago when it was a real bargain. Ah well, good luck everyone else.

I would say Lorrie that although there are MANY fabulous lead prices for flights at the moment I would say that there are a TINY amount of flights that go for anywhere near the lead prices - one main reason for this is availability of flights or should I say NON availability of flights and of course the tax that is added- averaging anywhere from $500- $750 on top of the price shown.
Just be happy you have flights booked with a good airline on a day of your choosing with flight times/connections that were to your satisfaction- I'm sure many people who may have been lucky enough to get a 'cheap' flight wont have the benefit of all the above

Emirates offer 30kg baggage as standard, hence could be worth the extra fare.
