Wilf - put up or shut up
Wilf,
In all your posts and claimed old codger experience of Australia, you haven't once given us any personal experiences or insight into what living in Australia means or meant to you. Very strange. For any of us who might (no doubt perversely) question whether you have any real experience of Australia at all (surely you're not Slipper the 28 year old Brit emigré living in NZ?), why not put us right and tell us something from the heart or memory about your life in Australia?
Or are you just a figgin?

Well, apparently he's married and living with wife and offspring in NZ (near Wellington? Not sure.) On about NZD40K a year - no joke. Couldn't get a job in the area he's got skills. Disillusioned. Computer access.

He apparently divides his time between posting drivel and growing veggies.

True mark of a troll: argumentative, full of crap, no credibility - judge for yourself. Wilf: 10/10, 10/10, 10/10.

Some good news, I've just noticed in the Lounge that 'Wilf' is not around for much longer. Seems he's leaving the country, the funny thing is he said he doesn't want to post about somewhere when he's in another country!

It is ironic you talk all the time about me being someone else because I recall that you admitted to playing at being another poster called "NewstartNZ". For a 40 year old man with kids, this is pretty pathetic behaviour is it not? Perhaps you need to address your own troubles, son, before you start throwing stones at my window.
I have said it before, I will say it again: I am Wilf, only Wilf. Not
PB, not Dotty, not Slipper, not Megalania, just Wilf.
One last thing. Is your name really Don Pleasance? Your mum and dad must have had a cruel sense of humour, since I see you must have been born in about 1963 and the disturbing actor Donald Pleasance was very famous then for being in the Great Escape. I saw it in London not long after it came out and enjoy it as much these days as I did then. Anyway, Don, you have my sympathies - that must have been a hell of a name to go through school with. I bet you wish mum had been a fan of Steve McQueen instead now don't you?

A person who REFUSES to declare where they are loses all credability with me, he could just be re posting articles he's read or picked up with ZERO personnel experience.

I have lived in Oz for nearly all my life and have given some personal information to a few by PM. I have no intention of making my life public here. If you, or others, do not want to hear what I have to say, for whatever reason, that is your right. I do not care and you are under no duress to read my posts.
I am more concerned with the fact that you are a poor advert for the Oz employment situation when you have said that all you can get is 3 month contracts - this exactly makes my point about what a bleak future awaits the poms trying to come here.
When I post here, I am talking to those who are prepared to listen and who are intersted in the opinions of a family man from England who has lived in Oz most of his adult life, not an unattached, backpacker like you who has admitted he has no responsibilities and therefore no interest in the long term future of Oz life. You give advice about the good life in Oz but have admitted you are buggering off to NZ in the future. Great. It is very responsible to promote a country you are quitting for want of a permanent job isn't it?
