I remember that pic well - its on the main road into Mission Beach, where they have a fairly high concentration of Cassowaries (high being not many ).

If you happen to be bitten by one of them, then count yourself bloody lucky ( :scared: ) as the chances are fairly low, as the popultation of them is low too.

In other words, the chances of being chased and bitten (your "stomach ripped out") by one is postively almost none - wild adult Cassowaries are a major rariety... to see one in the day is virtually zero...

And if you are lucky enough to see one in the wild, the chances of it attacking you are still very low. Most of the time, they would simply be curious or run away.

Found this tree frog on the boat trailer today.

The frog measures approximately 120mm long. It first appear when Cyclone Larry did a house call and has been seen occasionally since.

I wonder if there is a reason it was 'hiding' there......... :scared:
