Why be so afraid a change?
It’s the fear of the unknown that will ignite the fear for most of us, isn’t it?
Like watching a good horror film, it’s not what you can see; it’s what you think you will see. Or perhaps not what has happened but what you think will happen.

I think that it’s the driving force for most of us on this forum; we are trying to get as much information as possible BEFORE WE MAKE THE MOVE. So to all the bitter and twisted posters out there, all we are asking for in most cases is the cold facts about the other country’s situation.

On the whole I have found this to be a great forum with a lot of very helpful folks on, but there is always someone waiting to pour cold water on each and every post. Perhaps it’s their full time job. So before I’m asked, the point of this post is to shine a small torch into the tunnel of emigration.

Yea, yea, I know there is probably a train coming, but lets just hope it has a pillow tied to the buffers!!
