.I'm up for that...........we considered Figtree as a location but it is not on our sons school bus route. We had to go furher south and I'll hold breath on where we will settle but it won't be far from Figtree. I am in property development so know lots of areas well and what's coming up.

I'll have a few beers with anyone who likes a bit of decent rock music ..

........that's one of many things this area has which is far better than the UK....radio stations that play classic music from old and new eras and not wall to wall rap crap or boy band ballads.......I can now hear far more varied music on the radio than when I was in Sussex.......

We were visiting Wollongong last weekend. Kiama, Shellharbour, Albion Park with a view to moving down that way eventually. So you recommend it then?
In your honest opinion - how does it compare to Brissy? (if you've ever been there)
