Yep, a bit of unfriendliness going on here at the moment - I got some anonymous 'karma' yesterday that wasn't that pleasant at all

Yep - I'd just told a newbie on here not to worry about some of the posts as we're a nice bunch really... and someone sent me some karma saying, I was full of it and it's me and my lacky thats spoiling things. Charmed I'm sure

I think the Mods need to know this is going on. I already reported my incident and was told that it generally can't be traced back to the perpetrator. However.......with a bit of investigation on their part, they may be able to work out exactly who it is.

it's a real shame, this forum has been brilliant, and the posters, although i may not have agreed with all of their views, so what, they have their opinion and i have mine... that's what makes it so good!
what's going on? don't want to sound like a saddo, but i find myself sometimes thinking about people's situations and just people in general, and i haven't even met them... Bundy and her mum especially, the madsads, tony and cas, lucyb, kala and geraldton (?sp), the pole dancing girls, polly and her pursuit of real ale, mlbonner, christ, who else have i missed? there are so many! i even like mike stanton's posts!
just because this forum provides escapism and support, at the very least...

They have been banned many times but just come back with a different name but the same style.
That is why everyone seems to be suspicious and wary of anyone new at the moment.

I have found most people friendly and supportive - and, as is usual with bullies in the playground - it is the minority which cause the most trouble.
I think that we should be grateful for this forum, and treat it, and the majority of people with the respect it/they deserves.

just read this thread, as someone fairly new to the site Iwanted to add my bit. I have found everyone I have spoke to very informative and feel its really sad that some make it so miserable for others, I too enjoy hearing about others progress and feel quite sorry for people when things go wrong. I look forward to logging on to see if anyone I have spoke to has some good news so I hope it doesn't put people off.
