Default Why Australia?

Hi there
Im sure this question has been asked a billion time, so forgive me.
My family and I have recently submitted our application for Canada, but the uncertainty over the points possibly going up, along with the massive backlog, is leading me to look in to a back up plan.

For those of you on here, what made you chose Australia?

Many thanks

We're considering Aus because of the weather, the lifestyle and quality of life, it's English speaking and the company my husband works for would be able to transfer him (hopefully!) USA and Canada don't have the same appeal for us. We've considered Dubai/Middle East, but the cost of living would be prohibitive.

I spent a year backpacking a few years back, and loved it.The weather, the beaches, the outdoor lifestyle, laidback atmosphere and the diversity of each state.
