we leave on friday

staying in hong kong for 5 nights
then arrive in perth to start our "new life"

its all very odd

we went to see our mums this week as they live far away ,
we are really in limbo because it doesnt feel as if we are going yet

i am kinda excited - kinda scared !

we will be going to northam - but i have relations there so that will be good

the kids (10, 8 8) have been really good & have been helping to keep out of the way - & have been doing loadsa jobs without being asked to - bedrooms are tidy - washing has been put away ! :scared:

i feel as though i am in a different room - "on the outside looking in"

seems really calm - so we are either really organised - or we really havent got a clue & will spend next week running round like headless chjickens!!

Good luck, We go in just over three weeks (28th June). We are staying in singapore for three nights then on to Brisbane. Hoping to complete the house sale it looked unlikely last week but keeping fingers crossed that things are looking brighter this week.Sending personal belongings next week ( 20 boxes) and selling all the rest of our stuff, the house is getting more bare each day.

We hope to get our visa within the next month and we'll almost be on the next flight to Brisbane when it comes! Handed my notice in at work, just for officialdom's sake, I will stay on until the last minute.

We go to Perth mid to end of July as long as the house sale goes through ok. Going to live with my aunt and uncle in Ellenbrook until we have our own house. Furniture, the little bits we are taking go a week on Monday, husband has alreay given up his job just sorting out all the paperwork now. We all feel really excited but it still has not sunk in that we are really going half way around the world to live.

Hi , Keep in touch and we'll get together for a beer , might need a few after 22 hours on a plane . You will probably be arriving in Brissy around the same time as we are stopping off in Sydney for a week first.

Who said they were shiping 20 boxes??? We've got 323 and still packing

We still don't have our visas but we're oping to have them soon as our ideal date for going will be the 3rd September.
We already have our container provisionally booked for 30th August then there's just the dog to sort out.
So fingers crossed we have our visas by then.

The UPS man came today to take the court order to Oz, our case officer has our visas ready and waiting.... so we are aiming to leave 23rd August.
Cannot wait for the warmth and sunshine. We are getting soooooooooo excited each day and counting the weeks until we reach Lake Macquarie NSW
