Question Who else is moving to Sydney in next few months?

We are off in Feb Seems a long way away but when I worked out it is less than 9wks, less than 60 days, less than 1500hrs (you get the idea) it makes it seem all so soon.

FYI: hubbie & bubs (14mths) and myself off to Nth subs of Sydney, no job sorted yet.

Anyone else off soon? ....and gis us the details (please)

My wife and I got to Sydney one month ago having never been before and no job sorted out. Still havent got a job mainly because I decided to enjoy christmas and new year before looking. Finding somewhere to live was quite easy (now living in Cremorne) getting all the documentation i.e. medicare etc sorted out is easy. So far I am really enjoying it had a great Christmas even though it is a long way from family.

Hi

We'll (wife, kids 7,5 & 2 and me) be arriving on 2nd Feb. and also plan to live on the North Shore as my job is in Crows Nest.
I finished work in the UK now and have two weeks to get stuf sorted ready for shipping before we leave for our stopoff in Penang.

Our little family hope to be in Sydney early 2006 - as soon as we sell our house we'll be out of here! Me, Hubby (he will be in mid-January) and baby girl (now 10 months). Looking forward to arriving in Sydney and meeting all the other expats who have beat us to it!

Landed in Sydney just over 2 weeks ago, currently staying with friends in the Shire but got a rented place in Balmain from next weekend. After we move in we've also going to start job hunting (unfortunately) as we've been enjoying our month off over Christmas & the New Year.

Yep - I'm moving in 2006 with my partner. Flying mid-Feb, arriving in Sydney early May. Gonna head for the North Shores / Manly / Queenscliff etc. Hopefully there will be more accommodation available, and cheaper, because the winter will be starting.
