Question wheres best to live and work

We are in the process of getting 175 visa. My husband is an Electrician. We have 3 young children 5 and under. Any advice best place for jobs for OH. Also advice on good areas to live with good schools. Dont want to be isolated but would like to be near a beach.

Hi
Any idea which state you're planning to settle in?

we were thinking of Queensland but to tell you the truth we would go where the work is. We just want to leave the uk. Where are you.

Start a thread on the electricians section of BE, that said, OH could be considered 'competition'.

What does BE stand for. As for competion OH thrives on a good challenge and as he is a very good spark i dont think this would bother him. Sorry to appear thick but new to this.

BE stands for British Expats, as far as the work goes have you tried looking on any job websites to see which state has the most vacancies? that might help with your decision. If you ask people where's best to live and work well nobody can answer that but you because everyone has different opinions of where's best.

Apologies, just a thought that some may see OH as competition for them. Does'nt mean that's the case.

Thanks Steve. As i am new to this i am both excited at the prospect of getting visa and leaving uk and also terrified of oh not getting work when we get out there.
