I think it would be nice to get an idea of who is going where and when, so maybe we have some support if we go out there.
We are hopefully off to the Sunshine Coast, before May 04, now

It's just, you can speak to so many people, you forget who's going where and when, where at least with this, you can email this thread to yourself and keep everyone's name for reference of to get in contact with, you never know you could be on the same plane x

We are just starting to think seriously about emmigrating - we moved away from our friends two years ago which was I guess a sort of step one to emmigration. There is a distinct possibility that redundancy will stike again soon which could be a deciding point, so my current thinking given it might take a year or so to get a visa is to put an application in just in case, and in the mean time take a trip out to NZ to take a look.
When we go we will probably be based near Wellington or Auckland as there seem to be quite a lot of computing jobs around there.
We are still at the naive stage I guess. (but have been thinking about for years and years now!).

As you know the Sunshine Coast also, either October ( scarey!) or January it all depends on selling the house handing, in notice etc.
We MUST keep in touch with everyone heading to this area, we can't let the Perth lot have all of the fun!!
