Sorry can't really help much - have you tried a search for a holiday let?

Hi, we have a furnished, serviced studio apartment in Melbourne that we rent to new arrivals, so whether we can help depends on how large your family is.

Please send me a PM with your email address and I will send you details and photos.

Cheers

BB

We booked a campsite before coming (y'know one of those mobile home type ones), was very nice, cost around $100 per day, but felt like a holiday.

Let me just remind you about your bus journeys to work in that first week

I can recommend Corporate Keys.... they provide furnished rentals of high quality with all utilities etc included - this was perfect for the first 4 weeks.... (albeit a tad expensive)

Thanks for the replies the one that looks best for us is from the moving to Melbourne website, realistic prices in the right places the corporate one was too pricey. Thanks

oh yeah, depends where you work, however that bus journey was like a walk in the park compared to the car journey to work these days It is averaging over an hour to get to work, last tuesday it took two

Needless to say its stressing me out just a tad!
