I wonder if any positive people already living in oz can help. We have rellies in the Gold Coast area, Southport and Nerang, so we would want to settle within a couple of hours drive from them. This would take in quite a big area, from northern NSW to Noosa, so what I am asking is, if anyone has any ideas where would be a good area. Our criteria would be, as we have 4 children, to be quite near to schools, also a Hospital so Mrs Slater can work. I want to be able to buy some land, 5 acres or more and build us a nice place to live. Is there any advantage to settle in New South Wales, I believe that the clocks are I hour ahead, this would mean lighter evenings and more quality time with the children. Price is also a big consideration. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
