looking for some early reply.

Soon I am going to travel "35 Pitt Street, Sydney" but have little knowledge about sydney and australia. so can anyone guide me best places to live considering that I need to travel on daily basis for office work - morning and evening?

what is average cost per week for house/accomodation? a best way to reach to location from home etc.

Why will you want to leave when you're only just getting there?

I think if you post what your budget is per week for rent you will get more help as rents vary hugely. Do you want to be near beaches etc? Single or with family?

Chances are you'll be taking the train to Martin Place, try looking on the rail maps. As for cost of accommodation, it varies wildly, are you bringing family? If you're on your own you could get a room in a shared house for $250+, or an apartment for $600+ or a house (further out) for $700+ these figures are just very rough guesses per week and are at the lower end of the scale, the house would be 30-60 mins each way from your work.

You need to do a lot of research, start with the sydney rail website, then start looking for accommodation on domain.com.au.

I've visited that building many times. It's very well served by public transport with both Wynard and Circular Quay rail stations within 5 minutes walk. There are also very many bus options within the same radius.
