Default Where to get rid of rubbish

Hi,
I am looking wher I can get rid of some rubbish. Everyday household rubbish, as we are starting the moving process we have heaps of stuff to chuck. I called up the local council, which is Gosford right now. They dont accept household rubbish at the landfill site,(or dead animals, since 2008, who dumps dead animals at a landfill site ). They wont accept it at a kerbside collection. My bin, like everyone elses is not so big, and short of creeping up the rd at night, checking if there are any spare spaces in my neighbours bins, I dont know how or where to get rid of it?
Does anyone know where else I can try?
Thanks

Hire a trailer and dump it in the bushland on the outskirts of the city, that's what everyone seems to do in Wanneroo.

I couldn't believe the council wouldn't accept household waste

So I had a look and you can take it to Woy Woy but not the other site.

Take it out, one bag at a time, a bit like that Johnny Cash song - about how he built a car? - Put them into litter bins or the ones at truck stops on the motorway.

There used to be a big tip somewhere round Artarmon wasn't there?
