You can get a decent feed in Gilhooleys or the Landsdowne. Both let kids in until around 9:30pm

Try Cav's steakhouse in Labrador.
Great food and good for families.
Steaks are very big and from their own butcher next door.
Any Cabbie will know it.
Enjoy,
Steve

Read the question! Without kids and presumably without other people's kids as well.

Signatures in Twin Towns at Tweed is lovely and grown up. Push the boat out and take out a loan and head off to Palazzo Versace or Oskars on Burleigh - amazing food and amazing views http://www.oskars.com.au/home.htm

Sorry - I missed the 'but' out ..."But both let kids in....." At least they kick them out at a decent time - that's the main thing.

We are off to Domanis on Tedder Avenue tonight so could let you know if thats any good, but would say all the times we have been down to Tedder we have had a great time. The RSL in Currumbin is great value.

we loved Ashmore Steak House - kids thought it was great - take them to Big Chief at Burleigh for burgers on the beach - fantastic - then stroll over tp the bar at oskars for a nice glass of wine and watch the sunset

Another great one is Lone Star on the Gold Coast highway near Mermaid Waters - another favourite of our kids
