I'm an accountant looking to move from the UK. I'm single and weighing up both Oz and NZ. Where are the best places where I can find a decent job without getting bored? I'm not much of a country-lover, so looking more toward the cities - Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane types.

Melbourne if you are inclined towards culture, Sydney if you like to rip and tear , both are great city's with tolerable climates and plenty of everything, Melbourne is slightly less costly than Sydney overall , rent, property etc.

The rest are very large , to varying degrees , country towns with nasty climatic disadvantages.

I would think there would be more job opportunities in Melbourne or Sydney, but of course more people after them too.

Adelaide's forte is culture,
While in Brisbane the people insult ya
And don't hardly know they've been rude,
They're so ignorant, common and crude.
It's hardly worth
Mentioning Perth.
