I'm going to watch this thread too if you don't mind. Being a typical Scot I love a bargain.

Re: Where is cheapest for flights.
I recommend travelmood.
www.travelmood.com
I have booked with them long haul now for about 12 years, they wholesale for the airlines (ie smaller travel agents buy from them) and are consistently cheaper in my experience than other agents.
Also their staff tend to be very knowledgeable.

ok, ok if there's a band wagon I'm jumping on it!! what about end of Feb -London to Perth. The cheapest so far is about £1700 (approx) for 3 adults and 1 child through ebookers and asda with Singapore airlines for 1 way ticket. Anyone got any good sites they could share? Thanks

Try www.travelsupermarket.co.uk but most sites like Buzzy mentioned www.travelmood.com have offers for April flying after the 11th or www.leestravel.com and www.oztalk.co.uk.

We're moving out to Perth in April and the cheapest we found for our flights with Emirates was www.asdatravel.co.uk They beat everyone else by a considerable amount.

I always book direct with Singapore airlines online and dont bother looking at the others anymore as once taxes etc are on SA has always been the best deal in my (limited) experience
