Default Where to buy Remembrance Day poppy?

Living in Perth at the moment, and haven't seen anyone selling poppies.

I thought the aussies just didn't recognise Armistice Day, and celebrated (if celebrated is the right word) ANZAC Day instead.. but not sure?

Is it really recognised here, and if so, does anyone know where you can buy a poppy?

I'm in East Perth.

Perhaps a silk poppy will do.

A silk one would be fine (the ones I buy in the UK are usually just red paper - it's the symbol that's important).

Where are they normally sold?

RSL and volunteers on the streets and shopping areas nearer November 11.

Otherwise easy to make. Red 4 red petals attached to a black spoy witha pin through it.

I've bought them before near Perth Central train station, especially on the walkway over to Myers. I think that RSLs also sell them. They often don't appear until very close to the day. Our school sold poppies and held a service for the 1st time last year, hopefully they'll do it again this year.
