Smile where to buy furniture and stuff?

Hey guys,
Thought in an effort to reduce the stress of waiting to hear about the visa, thought I would try and find out good places for furniture and stuff.
Ok, over here, we have Argos and Index and of course Ikea, but when I looked at the Brisbane site for Ikea, there was almost no choice for beds!
Since we are thinking of Brisbane ish, are there good Argos type online shops I could browse while I wait for the visa

Hi

I am still in the UK too, but have sis in law in Brissie.

Suggest you check out the following websites:

hope this helps!

I visited the new Ikea in Brisbane recently and there seemed to be several on display.
I bought a suite from Snooze 8 years ago... it is fine although the mattress is due for replacement.

for kids beds try
www.bunkers.com.au

Avoid the cheaper stuff at super a mart... chipboard rubbish and/or low quality imports. Some of their more expensive furniture is reasonable though.

Freedom is very like habitat or the slightly more expensive Guests. We also like OzDesign. Just Google them.

Don't forget Ebay! You can often get great used furniture for a fraction of the new price. I've picked up children's furniture at a great discount.

Also try any Homemaker centre in Brisbane, as they tend to have several suppliers all in one handy place.

Have a look on www.homemakercity.com - it lists many of the home stores at each centre. You can then have a look if the store has a website.
