When to ship container?
When to ship Container?
We are going to Adelaide in September. When is the best time to send our container? We are renting the house so no need to move out etc. Also, anybody know of any good shipper agents? Thanks for your help.

Are you going to buy or rent?
Are you taking main bits of stuff i.e beds, sofas etc...?
We used Pickfords, they were good If you send your stuff early I think it takes around 8 weeks Uk to Aus after it has cleared AQIS (customs) it cost $180.00 (£80.00)per 28 days storage and a 1 off extra handling 1charge of $ 170.00 (£75.50)

Do you have to be there when your stuff clears customs or does an agent/removal company do everything.

As soon as they have done that if you are not in Aus or don't need your stuff quite yet make sure they take it away and put it into their storage and don't store it at the dock as this can be alot more money.

Thanks.
