Good idea ,keep things you don,t want packed seperated,and secured...Assist the packers as much as you can by makeing sure you have a safe work Enviroment, Dogs /kids kept at bay.
A good start is to make sure ,BINS are emptied,ash trays and dish,s washed ,Empty the dish washer this often gets missed, get rid of food you don,t want packed.
Flower vase,s and flower arrangements that might be suspect to AQIS ,get rid of them.
Pull down your electrical Equipment, so you know how it goe,s back together,any thing you dismantle , put the fittings n the Essentials box, all good crews have one[last box in the Container ,first off].
Now as far as security goe,s all reputible moving companys have Packing crews that are totally vetted { police checks Etc}..And as a contractor i make vey good money doing this and i am not likely to risk my reputation for any thing.....As for photographing the crews , some people don,t mind others don,t like it,don,t push the point if some one refuses.
Remember , we are people too and i try and treat every bodys possesions with the same respect i would like my own treated.................;)mm
