Last year schoolies week would have been next week I think - we were at Surfers on the final weekend while they were finishing off partying

Nice hotels down there, anything above 4 star should be fine, most are set up for USA and Japan standard so all pretty good, usually end up with 5 stars at around $200 a night, bargains a plenty just specify ocean view tho.

Thats very true. I'm know it was next week I went because it was for my Blokeys birthday, but I guess it would have been the NSW gang!
We stayed at the Marriott incidentally, there's two in Surfers... one is very nice, the other just nice. We stayed in the very nice one, the pool is actually salt water with a sand bottom and you can scuba in it or just snorkel on the top with the fish
