There should be a maturity date on the Commonwealth bank receipt for the AOS.
We lodged ours on 7/4/06 and the maturity date is 7/10/08 a total of 30 months.
This was for a 139 designated area sponsored.

136 is ! year yes , from lodgment date as we received ours back and we had only been in Aus 4 months so i would think all bonds work the same , saying that DIMIA will probably change there mind next week
